The first night of our two week road trip was spent camping at Hood River. We left the Spinks and Scotty suggested we try the Full Sail Brewery and get the sampler. I would suggest it to anyone traveling through Hood River. Very good food and great atmosphere.
From there we went down to the river and flew our kites. The girls loved using their new kites again, and there was definitely enough wind in Hood River.
The park had a really fun rock wall and the girls LOVED sitting on top!
Here is a pic of our camp site. This was Maddie's first time camping and really the first time that Bailey can remember camping. It was a great little camp site and beautiful view of the river.
Who doesn't love roasting marshmallows and eating smores?
The rest of the trip will follow......maybe after we get home. No computer at the next place.
