Preschool Graduation

On Thursday night Bailey had her preschool graduation. I am a little bit in denial. I truly can't believe that she is going to be in kindergarten. She is getting so grown up. She is so excited to start school, I don't know if she will be able to wait until September. This is both of the pre-K classes. Bailey is up in the top left.
Our graduate

Teacher Tammy-Bailey has been with her for 3 years now. Bailey is really going to miss her.

To finish the night off the girls got to have a slumber party with Nana. They both thought it was the best way to end the night.

Feeling Better

After about two solid weeks of sick kids.....I think I can finally say the girls are feeling better. Maddie did have an allergic reaction to her antibiotics, so it prolonged the healing process. Bailey had ballet pictures on Saturday. Here is a preview of her adorable outfit. Isn't she cute! Maddie has learned to climb the tree in the front yard. She is so excited she has been trying for quite some time and now she can do it all be herself.

We had a little musical bike riding on Sunday.

They found the knee pads in the garage, so they thought is was fun to wear them.

We finished today off with a visit to the dentist and we have two girls with no CAVITIES! YEAH!

Last Week

Mother's Day was spent at home because Bailey wasn't feeling well, so we stayed home and relaxed with a spa day.

We did do a little puddle jumping in the rain, just to get out of the house.
By Wednesday Bailey was really sick and we took her to the doctor. Anyone with a cough is supposed to wear a mask. Bailey thought it was the coolest thing and wanted to wear it all week. She ended up having an ear infection and needed some steroids for her asthma.

I stayed home the rest of the week and the girls got breakfast in bed and lunch on the couch.

Yesterday Jason played in the district tournament and he had a 1 hour rain delay in the middle of the game......"How many guys does it take to call a rain delay?" They did finsh the game with a 4-3 win, so I gues the wait was worth it.

Tomorrow the Jacks play the Monarchs at 1:00. Winner moves onto regionals.

Let's Go Jacks! Give 'em the axe!

First Base

Bailey's in full swing of t-ball. This week she got to play first base, which was Jason's position for those of you that didn't know. I snatched a few pictures of her in action.

If I were a guessing woman, I would guess this will be the only time Bailey plays baseball. However, we will see-every woman has the right to change her mind.

Sun

Last Sunday we actually had another sunny day mixed in with all the rain. So we decided to take a picnic to the park. We went to a new park (new to us) in Rainier. The Riverfront park. It had a really fun playground for the girls and lots of grass to run and play. I am sure we will go back again someday. We stopped and bought kites.......no wind, so no kite flying, but we tried. Bailey's favorite part was this rock wall. She kept telling everyone, "My Mom has one of these, but hers is just straight."
Fun on the swings

This was Maddie's favorite part of the playground

I thought is was neat to see Mt. St. Helen's peeking out in the sun.

On the way home we stopped at Dairy Queen for a fun sold treat.

I think Bailey liked it!
