Pumpkin Carving

We did our pumpkin carving today...We had a blast. Here is Maddie coloring hers. It was completely covered by the end of it. She colored that thing for at least a half an hour.
Bailey watching Daddy very intently as he carved her pumpkin.
The girls' finished product.

My spider. This is the first year I truly put forth an effort and I am VERY pleased because I am not artistic AT ALL.

Pumpkin Patch

We spent the weekend down in McMinnville/Dayton. It was Jason's 10 year reunion with his Linfield friends. They had a little tailgate get together on Saturday. Then we went to the Heiser Pumpkin Patch with the Spinks. It has moved places and added tons of things to do. It definitely raised the bar for other pumpkin patches. We were there for a few hours and didn't even touch all the activities. We forgot to even look at the animals.
One of the new things added was a train ride. Madison LOVED it. Bailey made sure to let me know that they told them to look forward.

Here they are posing for a quick pic. I think we only took 100 pictures yesterday. Jason and Scotty were tired of pictures by the end of the afternoon.

Here they are on the great pumpkin hunt.

A quick family photo (Thanks Jen!)

The hayride back was a blast. The girls LOVED being with cousins and didn't want to leave. Can't wait until next year.

Portland Children's Museum

Teresa and I took the kiddos to the Portland Children's Museum yesterday. We all had a blast. When Bailey was telling Jason about it, first and foremost she talked about riding in Teresa's fancy car and how she had her own TV in front of her.
Here is Bailey working really hard in the kitchen....Having a bake sale is hard work. She really enjoyed this area of the museum.
All three of the girls liked the water area.
We all brushed teeth.
Here is angel baby, Griffin and super mom, Teresa. He didn't make a peep the entire morning. He had lots of fun watching the girls play also.
We finished the morning off with a little concert on the stage.
Overall a success and loads of fun for everyone.

Claire is 1!

Today my niece Claire turns 1! Yesterday we went to another one of Jodi's amazing birthday parties. The girls had a blast seeing their cousins. I enjoyed the yummy tacos and cookies.

Hard to see in the picture, but VERY cute idea. Jodi takes a picture at each month of her children during their first year. She made a banner of 8X10 pictures of Claire's first year. She is sooooo cute.
We had pumpkin decorating time..this is the before picture, the kids LOVED this activity Bailey made three pumpkins and could have made more.
Here is the adorable birthday girl.
Here she is eating her cake....she wasn't a big fan of cake. She preferred the YUMMY tacos instead.

The Fire Station

This week is "Fire Prevention" week. Bailey's preschool went on a field trip on Wednesday. She was unable to go because I was at work. So I promised Bailey I would take her to the open house. The girls and I had a blast. We got lots of cookies, candy, coloring pages, buttons, flashlights, and toothbrushes. We saw a helicopter land, and we were able to go inside of the firetruck and ambulance. Neither girl wanted to go inside the ambulance. Overall a success for a Saturday activity.
Bailey didn't want her picture taken.

Learning about what to do when your smoke alarm goes off.
Sparky the dog...we liked him better than Smokey the bear.

Jack Johnson and Griffin

For my birthday Jason got me tickets to the Jack Johnson concert at The Gorge. Two things that I have never done before, see Jack in concert or go to a concert at The Gorge. Two things I highly recommend to anyone that is interested. We had a blast. It is an amazing setting and Jack is always great to listen to.
It was a gorgeous day....80 degrees in October.

Today while Bailey was at preschool Maddie and I got to meet Griffin Elhardt...the best baby ever. Griffin is two weeks old, never cried and made googly eyes at me the whole time we were there. He is also pretty stinkin cute. Many more play dates to come with that little one.
