Spring Break

This app is acting up. I have been trying to post for over a month. I guess I will move on. Here are a few pics from spring break. We went up to Government Camp for the week with the Bertram's.

I took each girl skiing. It was Bailey's second attempt. She went one other time in preschool and she is starting to get the hang of it. We spent the day at Summit and she is ready to go again.

The next day I took Maddie. She went on the bunny hill at Timberline, so she could do the entire run in 30 seconds. She liked it until her coat got stuck on the chair lift. It will take some coaxing before she will go on a chair again.

Until next time

Jason's Birthday

Jason got spoiled for his birthday. On Friday night we went out to dinner with his friends.

His birthday morning he got breakfast in bed from these cuties.

Then he opened his favorite gift ever. Jason and I are going to Boston and we are going to a Red Sox/Yankees game. This was on his bucket list. (My new teaching partner is a cupcake expert and me him those red velvet cupcakes)

Then we went to Fuji's in Vancouver with Pat and RaeLyn. Fuji's is becoming a tradition three years running for Jason's birthday dinner.

To finish the day off he had his favorite ice cream cake.

Swimming and Dance

Our winter has been spent with swimming and dance. Maddie started ballet after soccer and Bailey joined a swim team.

Here is a sneak peak of Maddie's costume for her dance recital.

She got to bring her friend Sophia to bring a friend to dance day.

Bailey is loving swimming. She had her first swim meet and is really enjoying it.

Father Daughter Dance

These adorable girls got to go to the dance with their handsome dad.

They loved getting their hair done...

They both had matching fingernail polish with their dresses.

Jason said Bailey danced with him the entire time and Maddie (like a true teenager) ditched him for her friends.
I think this is such a fun tradition for all of them. These girls are lucky to have such an amazing dad.

President's Day Weekend

During president's day weekend we stayed with the Spink family and watched Zach play some hoops. We actually got to see Tyler play on Saturday also.

Then we headed to Lincoln City. The girls and I got a pedicure as a Valentine gift.

It was extremely stormy at the beach, so the girls spent most of the time in the pool.

It was such a fun weekend....too bad it had to end.

Student of the Month

Bailey got the student of the month award for improvement. She has been working really hard, doing her homework, vision therapy, and trying her best. I am really proud of her for working hard.

Christmas Vacation

We have had the best time this vacation. We got to see a ton of family and friends, we went on mini vacations and also managed to relax. I truly sad to be going back to work tomorrow. Here are a few pics from our amazing 2 weeks off. We got to spend a few nights at the beach house and the beach was gorgeous.

Maddie even played in the water. She has a swimsuit on under that sweatshirt.

Jason had a little fun writing in the sand.

We went to shore acres to see the lights.

My cousin Robin came to Christmas this year and her husband Erik is a magician. The kids were blown away. So were the adults.

Maddie got a new bike from Santa.

My cousin also own a photo booth.
They set the booth up and everyone had a blast.

The 11 grand kids

All of the girls.

Bailey enjoyed the photo booth the most. We have at least 50 more like this in different poses.

We came home and celebrated Christmas with the Castro side. We had friends over for New Years and took an additional trip to Seaside. We spent a lot of quality time together and I am truly sad to say it is over.
