San Diego Zoo Safari Park

The third day we went to the Safari Park. We thought it was going to be like Wild Life Safari (where you drive your own car through), but it was like a full zoo and then they drive you through a large area with the animals. We all had a blast again! Once again a great choice for kids this age, less walking and still seeing all the animals.





Loved spending the vacation with these two amazing people. I really don't know how I got lucky enough to have them as my parents. Aren't they cute?


This was the highlight of the day for Bailey. Once she held the bird, she kept asking to go back and do it again. However, the second time the bird bit her so she wasn't as excited.

Lego Land

If you have kids my age.....Lego Land is the perfect place for them. My girls could go on every ride and they loved every one. They went on three roller coasters. We did have to fib and say Maddie was 4 on a few rides, but she was tall enough to go on all of them.


I found a new partner in my love of roller coasters in Bailey. She wanted to do more and more, just like me.


Maddie got her face painted and Bailey picked a stuffed animal. These girls got SPOILED on the trip by Nana and Papa.


Quick little stop with Lego Harry Potter.


The girls did this ride and had to pull themselves up and they did great and worked well together.


Goodbye Legoland! We loved you!

San Diego

Here are a few San Diego pics. We brought Bodie's Flat Stanley.


We went to the Oceanside street fair/farmers market last night. Highlight was the hopping house and these balloons.


However best part of the day was our plane was Disneyland themed, so it had a castle painted on it. The girls loved that and we had to act like princesses on the trip.

Programs

I guess I haven't loaded videos on the computer in a while.  I put Maddie's Valentine program on and realized I hadn't put videos on the computer since before Christmas.  Here are two videos, one song from Maddie's program and one from Bailey's.

They both did a great job!

Blog Slacker

I have been a complete slacker lately on the blogging.  I tried to do it on my phone, organized it, added some pics, typed it out and it still won't post. The jist of the post was that we are truly blessed to have such great people in our lives. Rashell has been my life saver repeatedly this past month. Watching Maddie when Anu had her baby, then again when I was in Seattle. She is truly one amazing woman. She is such a great friend. I can tell her anything and she is always there for me. I wish I could be there for her more often. Love her dearly.
Then next two amazing ladies that I tried to post about were Nana Lyn and Aunt Julie. Those two ladies love to love my girls. They mail them packages, think of them often, and just down right LOVE them.  They came and spent two nights with them while Jason and I went to Portland. Maddie and Bailey were counting down the days just as much as Jason and I. All 4 girls had a blast, and so did Jason and I.
We are truly blessed to have such great people in our lives.
Hopefully I will find more time to sit at the computer and blog, or my phone app will start working again.
