Mt. Hood

After Jason got home from his history trip, we headed up to Government camp for a few nights. On the way we stopped at Voodoo doughnuts. It was the girls first time.

This is frog lake. What a beautiful place for the girls to play in the water and actually catch TONS of baby frogs.

Here is Maddie showing you a few that she caught. They were so tiny.

After Frog lake we headed to Trillium lake. Here is my mom swimming with Bailey.

We went for a couple of hikes.

Jodi and the kids came up for a night. My girls LOVED showing them frog lake. Here they are all cuddled in for their bedtime show.

Our last night there Jason and I went on a date up to Timberline. Then we snapped a quick pic at Trillium lake. Thanks Mom and Dad for babysitting.

Summer Fun

This summer has already been so much fun. The best part is I have spent so much time with family. My sisters and Mom had our first annual girls weekend. I had a blast and I adored spending time with the 4 ladies that I look up to most in the world.

The girls were given 6 American Girl dolls. They have not stopped playing with them. We are still blown away by the kindness of Eastyn.

While Jason was on a history trip, we spent time with cousins. Here we are with the Sanderson's at a splash pad.

The next day we did some berry picking. We picked blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries. They were delish!

The final day with these cousins we went on a beautiful bike ride.

Then we got to meet Olivia Weaver! She is as cute as a button. She sucks her fingers like she is in the picture, just like Bec did when she was a baby. She is precious, I can't wait until I get to see her again.

Then we visited with the Spinks.

We had a blast and finished off our visit by watching Shawnie hit an in the park home run.

4th of July

We had a very fun 4th of July. We got a special gift from Cliff and Rashell and we bought some fireworks from their church.

Then we watched the parade with the Elhardts. The kids had a hard time all looking at the camera at the same time, but they did get loads of candy.

Then they enjoyed a few rides at the kid zone.

To top the night off we watched our fireworks right before the big show at the lake.

Bandon

Jason and I celebrated our 12th anniversary and we were lucky enough to get a night away, thanks to my parents. We spent the night in Bandon and it was a gorgeous few days on the beach.

We spent the evening at Bandon Dunes for a spectacular dinner.

The next day we went to the game park where the girls got to pet a bear, bobcat, possums and many other animals.

We also went to the new cheese factory in town and enjoyed some yummy ice cream.

Then everyone had a blast burying me! :)

Then we had another amazing evening on the beach. This time it was with the Spink and Newton kids.

Jason and Bailey spent most of the following day building a wind barrier and fire pit. Here they are enjoying their hard work.

Everyone gathered around the fire and enjoyed a few s'mores.

The last day we took a long walk on the beach with nana and papa to see the seals.

Dance and Swim Lessons

The girls had their dance recital.

We were so proud of the girls for all of their hard work.

We also did two weeks of swim lessons. Bailey loved every minute of it. She learned lots of new strokes.

Maddie on the other hand, had a few rough days of swimming. Some days she liked it and others she didn't. Here she is jumping off the diving board.
