Eagle Crest

I didn't fall off the face of the earth.....I just left my camera at Eagle Crest. OOPS! We had a great family vacation. The girls spent quality time with cousins and loved every minute of it. I had an amazing birthday. I was spoiled by everyone. We rode bikes, went rafting, relaxed, swam (of course), and a few people golfed. What a great trip. Thanks Nana and Papa.
Here is Dean with the new Ipad...... I think I want one now.
My amazing Mom.

Bailey and Morgan were inseparable at Eagle Crest. They had slumber parties and Bailey did NOT want to leave her cousin-sister.

This weekend I went and got my camera back from Jen. Tyler and I are birthday buddies and he rented a hoppin house for his party. We came down to use it this weekend. Bailey played hard and of course wanted to live there.
Also Jason has really been working with the girls on riding bikes this last week. Bailey is getting much less timid and now Maddie can ride Bailey's old bike. They are really doing well.
My next pictures will be of the remodeling that we are doing. Jason has painted the entire down stairs and new flooring is going in next weekend so stay posted.

I know you are sick of the blogs, so here is my final one of the trip......our stay in Windsor, Ca. We took a trip to the beach.....cold, foggy, and 55 degrees.
Bailey LOVED the beach as usual and built a little fort.
Since we were in wine country we managed to stop in at a few wineries. My favorite was Korbel, the grounds were beautiful.
I think we were in a pool every single day for 2 weeks. That was definitely Bailey's favorite part of the trip.
We drove back on 101 and drove the Avenue of the Giants. Jason stopped for a few pics.

Monterey Bay Aquarium

On our drive north, we took a little detour and stopped off in Monterey. If you ever find your self near Monterey, I highly suggest you go to the aquarium. We had a blast. I really wish that Maddie had a nap before we got there. However, we were there for about 2 hours and didn't see everything. It was amazing, wonderful, beautiful....fill in the blank here. We loved it.

Yep...still has her hat on.

They had an entire room of sea horses, the jelly fish room was amazing as well. The girls liked the sharks the best.

Hollywood

Hollywood...I can definitely say that this was not my favorite day of the vacation. However, still fun. I had never been, and I wanted to try it. They also had a Hard Rock that just opened, so Jason wanted to go. We took a few star pictures. I had to blog the Winnie the Pooh one. I don't really understand how he has a star, but whatever I took the picture anyway.

The girls put their hands in almost all of the hand prints in front of Grauman's Chinese Theatre. Jason went on the tour, he said I didn't miss much. Yes, Bailey is still wearing her princess hat. She wore it for about 4 days after Disneyland. She got a TON of comments in Hollywood.

Jason got his glass with a Grand opening printed on it. The restaurant opened 2 weeks prior. Now I just need somewhere to display all of his glasses.

Bailey having fun at lunch.

If you can see that little white spec on the hill. That is the Hollywood sign. It was a foggy/smoggy day. But it is there.

We are Home

We are home...we made it. What an amazing trip. I am unsure how to blog all of this, so I guess I will pick a few favorite days/things and bombard you with different blogs. When deciding how much time to spend at Disneyland, we couldn't decide between 2 or 3 days. In the end we went with 2 days and spend the extra money on a character lunch at Ariel's Grotto. Ariel is also Bailey's favorite (we have the big picture of that and I am too lazy to scan it in). I think we made the right decision. Bailey got to see 5 of the 6 main princesses...talk to them...get her picture taken with them....hug them. We also did almost everything that a 2 and a 4 year old would like at Disneyland in two days, as the girls were afraid of quite a few things. Therefore, here is an overview of the lunch.

Bailey and Cinderella

Bailey and Aurora (Sleeping Beauty)

All of us with Belle, I am in a few others holding Maddie, but Bailey is just cuter.

Last but not least....Sleeping beauty. This is Bailey's experience.......

Here is Maddie....did we mention the food is REALLY good.

Golden Gate Bridge

This is a little weird already blogging about this as we have done a lot of things since we left Disneyland. My favorite thing that we did was go to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. However, since we did the Golden Gate bridge today. I will blog about that. We are staying about an hour from San Fran and took a day trip to explore the bridge, go to a few parks, and play in the water. It was cold and foggy, so we just went with the flow.

First we went to a beach and played in the sand a little bit. The coolest part of maybe even the entire day was that there were dolphins swimming in the water right there. We saw them jumping numerous times and I even snapped a picture. I will have to share that one later.

Then we played on a playground and ate lunch at Golden-Gate-Park. After that we headed to the actual bridge. Snapped a few pics and walked across.

The girls and I made it half way, Jason walked all the way. Bailey was cold before it even started and then it got tooo loud. However, she did say she liked "Susan's bridge"...Susan that is from Monsters vs. Aliens. The things that kid remembers....I don't know.

We are off to the beach tomorrow to play in some tidepools.

Disney Fun

It is almost impossible to choose 5 pictures quickly, but I did my best. We only have about 200 pictures from our two days at Disneyland. Here are a few of my favorites. I KNOW more are coming.
One of the highlights for Bailey was being chosen to be in the parade. She actually did it and boogied down.
Here is the best family photo......Also if you ask Maddie what happened at Disneyland she says.."Mickey high five"
Very Funny story behind the Minnie Mouse picture......in the end we got the picture and everyone is happy.
Had to throw in this cute one of Bailey.
Also the girls' LOVED "It's a small world". We went on it three times. They were amazed by all the "Beautiful Things".
More to come with the princesses. It will have to be at a later date on our own computer. Overall a SUCCESS. Tons of smiles.

Vacation

I wish more than anything I could post pictures. However, the computer in this room doesn't have the correct slot for our camera. I know I will post some when I get home. However, I am just feeling so blessed that I had to share. The girls have been amazing on the drive. They have LOVED everything so far: Fairytale Land (in Sacramento), Santa Monica Pier, and mainly every possible pool we can swim in.
We have had the usual trip mishaps, such as me getting directions to a child care place in Sacramento and not the Fairytale Land....oops! We also didn't have Becky's pass code to her gated community that she lives in. Showing up at 8:30 at night and I never even thought to ask her the code. However, everything has worked out and went smoothly. Bec's house (I mean I guess it is Sean's house too....sorry Sean)was great, today we relaxed and swam in the pool while Jason went to a presidential museum. Then we checked into our hotel here. We have the nicest room ever....amazing view of Disneyland. I am about to watch the fireworks from our window...sadly by myself as everyone is fast asleep.
I am just sooo blessed in my life and am truly thankful to God for this amazing time that we get to spend together. I might be swearing up a storm and exhausted after two days of Disneyland. However, today I couldn't ask for more in my life.
