We have had a fun few days of snow around here. I REALLY needed a break and was praying for Jason to be home...it worked. Yesterday morning we took a quick walk around the neighborhood. While we were out we decided to have a family trip to the hair dresser.
Maddie got her very first hair cut. She was such a good girl.

sick-o's
The last week has been full of SICK kids. The first fever came by Bailey last Tuesday.......She got her fever back yesterday. So literally we have had at least one person sick every day last week. This weekend we had a spa day in the bed. Maddie didn't like the cucumbers on her eyes, but Jason and Bailey did it almost all afternoon.
We got a little bit of sun this weekend so we went out to wash the cars. Daddy had some helpers.
Maddie was in charge of the water.
Monday we went to the doctor-RSV for both girls and double ear infection for Bailey and one ear infection for Maddie. We tried on Monday to go to Myrtle but decided to let the medicine kick in before we left Tuesday. Then Tuesday after making it to Oregon and turning around I needed something to distract Bailey from not going to Nana's-yes she was in tears-. So we decided to go to kid's club in Vancouver. It is a REALLY cool place. However, with my girls not 100% Bailey only lasted 45 minutes and then fell asleep on the way home and her fever is back.
They did enjoy it for a while and I know that we will go back some day. There are moments of smiles and I LOVE those. I really hope they get better soon so we can play in the snow outside.

Valentine's Day
We had a GREAT Valentine's Day at the Castro house. We started the day with heart pancakes and a heart flat egg. We all know how much Bailey LOVES her flat egg.
The girls were spoiled by EVERYONE yesterday, right down to Maddie getting treats at Bailey's ballet class. The got packages with socks, money, and candy. Jason and I gave the girls a balloon and what they asked for.....Bailey wanted a mini pillowpet (who knew they had such things) and Maddie wanted some sunglasses.
We ended the day with heart shaped pizza and of course CANDY. We even got cupcakes from Shell.
Last but not least thought I would show Bailey with all of her unicorns-one is a Pegasus-but she still calls it a unicorn. She got the big one from Nana Judy, and the little baby one in her hand from Nana Pam for Vday. Now it is nearly impossible to find her in her bed at night. Yes she still sleeps in Pretty her stuffed animal/sleepingbag.
I also got spoiled....Jason and I are doing dancing lessons in May.....I'll keep you posted. Should be fun.

Valentine Program
We have had a lot of Valetine LOVE this past week. Here is Bailey with her dear friend Brooklyn at Brooklyn's party.
We did a little decorating for Valentine's day. The girls did a little more yesterday while Shell babysat they did lots of decorations. Side nore they want Shell to babysit ALL the time now.
Last night was Bailey's preschool program. It was Valentine theme, so I snapped a few pics before we left.

Last Week
On Tuesday we had a special play date with Brooklyn (Bailey's best friend from preschool) at Cafe Sip n Play. Brooklyn turned 5 on Wednesday. We are headed to her actual birthday party tonight. Picture is a little blurry of the two of them playing.
We took a break to have lunch......YUMMY food.
I caught Maddie checking out Fawn's belly. She is due on April 15th.
On Thursday Jason's team from last year was honored at halftime of the civil war game. It was REALLY neat. All of the kids came back, the graduated seniors that are up at PLU and UW. Every kid was there except for one. I know the picture is of their butts, but on the other side is the new sign that is going up in the batting cage. I guess you will have to go to the batting cage to see it.

Update
We are down to one fish. Only Spring has survived and I kind of think he is bully. We will see if we get anymore. We watched Addy and Griffin on Tuesday night. The girls had a blast. Jason held Griffin almost the entire time, I think he enjoyed having another man in the house. Here are the girls eating a little jello from the jello-mold Nana Judy sent in the mail.

Newest addition to the family.....
We are happy to announce three new members to the family-our goldfish, the dog fell through and this is a happy second choice. They were named by the kids-Maddie has Oink, the all orange one-Bailey had Spring-the one with black, and Jason (my last kid) has Slugger, the one with white. We will see how long they last. Right now they are a HUGE hit.
Last week Maddie was sick all week long, so we spent lots of time in the house. Bailey and I played a little Pretty Pretty Princess from Aunt Bec.
On Sunday Papa Pat had his 60th birthday party. Bailey and Jason had a really fun day in Snohomish. She came home with these flamingo sunglasses and wore them all day long. She is such a super star.
Today was rain boots day at school so they could jump in the puddles. Bailey loves to pose so I took a few pics.
